Network by Design is a new venture that we established based on our experience of working with friends and colleagues that needed simple, yet effective, websites to present academic research or launch new social enterprises.
We often found that although many of our friends and colleagues had staff pages on company or organisation websites, often this did not provide the flexibility or functionality that they required.
When launching a new project, workshop or conference, what people asked for was a standalone website that they could control and update when they needed to.
We also discovered that although many people are confident using and updating social networks sites, for most, the idea of setting up and managing their own website is daunting.
